Entumoto Camp is located on the eastern boundary of the Masai Mara Reserve, set high on an escarpment. The tents at this comfortable and stylish camp have been located for total privacy, each boasting a deck, 4 of which are family units with a lounge area and two bedrooms (and two bathrooms). Entumoto Safari Camp offers a wide variety of activities suitable for guest of all ages to enjoy, including nature walks lead by local Masai warriors. Or if you just want to sit back and relax, why not take a dip in the lovely swimming pool.

Mahali Mzuri, Sir Richard Branson’s tented camp in the Masai Mara ecosystem, is located in the 13 500 hectare Motorogi/Olare Orok Conservancies. There are 12 unique and visually striking luxury tented suites, each on a raised platform with a large deck with views over the landscape. The central Main Tent features a lounge area and large deck, iPads for guest use, a games console and a TV/DVD player for those who wish to keep in touch with the rest of the world. Or just spot game from the 12 metrme infinity pool.

Asha Cottage

Asha Cottage is a relaxed Swahili style guest-house on the seafront at Diani Beach, south of Mombasa. There are five guest rooms, each tastefully decorated with a combination of African, Afghan, European and Swahili art, fabrics, and carpentry. All rooms have king-sized beds with mosquito nets, air conditioning, ceiling fans and mosquito netting on all windows. ‘The Ledge’ is their al fresco feet -in-the-sand terrace, directly overlooking the beach. Dinners are Table D’hote, changing daily, and offering the best local produce and seafood.

Msambweni House is in a quiet and unspoiled setting above a small private beach, along a 4 mile white, sandy palm-fringed coastline. Family owned and run, there are three spacious and stylish suites in the main house, two villas and a luxury tented suite. The main house has a large infinity pool and a unique ‘jetty’ with a fire-pit where pre-dinner drinks and canapés are served. The two Lamu Villas, with a private chef and waiter, are beautifully appointed with their own infinity pools and jacuzzi, facing the sea. Enjoy a walking or mountain bike tour to the nearby village.
