Botswana Luxury Mobile Safari

This outstanding accommodated mobile safari gives you an opportunity to gain an insight into areas and wildlife not necessarily available on a typical fly-in safari, whilst enjoying the comfort of lodges within Botswana's game reserves and national parks..

Your first stop is the Chobe National Park which is famous for its huge herds of Elephants and buffalo before departing in your equipped safari vehicle for Savute, after your two night stay here you head south to the Moremi Game Reserve, renowned for its dramatic scenery. You then depart by boat to the heart of the Okavango Delta to discover the channels and lagoons. After two nights here you fly to the Makgasikgadi Pans National Park which offers you the chance to see large concentrations of game.

days 1-2

Chobe Game Lodge

On arrival at Livingstone airport, you will be met and transferred to Chobe Game Lodge, where you will meet your guide who will brief you on the various aspects of the safari. Spend the next two nights at Chobe Game Lodge. Chobe National Park is famous for its huge herds of elephant and buffalo.

days 2-4

Savute Safari Lodge

Depart Chobe Game Lodge in your specially equipped safari vehicle for the Savute area of the Chobe National Park. The day is spent travelling to Savute Safari Lodge, stopping in the shade of a large tree en-route for lunch. The lodge, where you will stay for two nights, is in an area renowned for its population of bull elephant and resident predator species.

days 5-6

Moremi Game Reserve

Head south to the Moremi Game Reserve, crossing the Khwai River bridge. Moremi Game Reserve is renowned for its dramatic scenery and abundant wildlife. Drive through Xaxanaka, considered one of the most beautiful areas in the reserve. Located on the edge of the permanent waters of the Okavango Delta, this area is rich in plant and animal species.

days 7-8

The Okavango Delta

Depart by boat into the heart of the Okavango Delta journeying through the channelsand lagoons of the delta. For the next two days, at Camp Okavango, you will experience the incredible diversity of this water wilderness ecosystem. Explore the waterways by boat and the islands on guided walking safaris.

days 9-10

Leroo Latau

Take a light aircraft flight over the Okavango Delta to the desert location of Leroo LaTau, situated on the western boundary of Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. The park, populated by up to 30,000 zebra and wildebeest closely accompanied by predators, offers you the chance to experience large concentrations of game and the resultant predator interaction.

To Maun

After a morning activity and breakfast, you will bid farewell to your guide and be transferred from Leroo La Tau to Maun Airport for your onward arrangements.
