Sayari Camp

In the majestic and very exclusive landscape of the far northern Serengeti, Sayari Camp is one of the best, far from the tourist track. Between mid July and October, the Great Migration typically visits the area and crosses the Mara River in search of good grazing, and the resident game is good year round. The 15 chic spacious tents each have a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom and a private veranda. The dining area, lounge area and campfire create a perfect bush setting, with Africa as the backdrop. A very special place.

Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge

A series of traditional domed ‘rondavels' are spaced throughout the grounds, and on the very edge of the ridge is a horizon pool looking out over the ‘endless plains' after which the Serengeti is named.

Situated just south of the Serengeti National Park and northwest Ngorongoro Conservation area, known as the Ndutu Area, this is one of the best areas for the migration from December to May and there is resident game all year round in this area. The luxury tents are en-suite and built on raised wooden platforms, with a verandah from which guests can observe the wildlife visiting Lake Masek. The camp is eco-friendly as all the electric power is supplied by solar panels and water is collected during the rainy season.

Tucked between the prime wildlife areas of central and southern Serengeti, Dunia Camp, with bucket showers and solar electricity, combines elements of style and luxury with an incredible wildlife experience. The Great Migration passes through this area that is well known for its abundance of predators and the rare chance it offers to see the black rhino. The secluded and tranquil setting close to the Moru Kopjes is in one of the most exclusive and scenic parts of the Serengeti.

The chefs pride themselves on preparing fresh fare from the ocean.

Jongomero Camp is set under the shade of acacia trees on the banks of the seasonal Jongomero River in the remote south-west sector of Ruaha National Park, one of Tanzania's wildest and most unspoilt parks. The comfortable tents are situated along the edge of the sand river, all built on raised wooden platforms and under thatched roofs giving you a private veranda. The main lodge areas and swimming pool also offer a view of the African bush.

Siwandu (formerly Selous Safari Camp), situated on the shores of Lake Nzerakera, is in one of the most attractive areas of the huge Selous Game Reserve. All tents are widely spaced along the lake shore ensuring maximum privacy and wonderful views. The camp is comprised of two separate areas, used according to the number of guests in camp. Each section has its own swimming pool, bar and dining area and no movement between camps is required as each has its own host, game viewing vehicles, jetty for boat safaris and walking guides.

200 km South-West of Dar Es Salaam lies the mighty Selous Game Reserve, one of Africa’s least known yet wildest conservation areas, and at 55,000 sq km Selous is four times larger than the Serengeti. This reserve is home to over 1,000,000 large animals and is home to over half of Tanzania’s elephant population. The camp is about 6 km outside of the reserve, consisting of ten en-suite tents, equipped with comfortable beds, electricity and verandahs.
