Watch Cricket At Newlands

With Table Mountain looming in the background, Newlands in Cape Town is one of the most scenic and iconic cricket grounds in world cricket, rated 2nd only to the historic Lords Cricket Ground by 'The Cricketer' magazine. Spend a delightful day here watching a test match, a One Day International, a T20 or a local match, and you won't be disappointed. England are touring South Africa in 2015/16.

The permanent home of the Cape Cobras, with a seating capacity of approximately 25,000, Newlands hosted its first Test match in 1889, with England defeating South Africa. The very first match of any kind at Newlands was 'Mother Country' v 'Colonial Born' - we don't know who won!

Today it is simply a stunning place to watch a game of cricket, and we can assist with match tickets and hospitality packages for any game held here. It doesn't have to be a specialist cricket-watching tour, although we can do those too, but just part of your visit to Cape Town and South Africa. There are also regular tours of the ground and the facilities.
