The waterhole in front of the lodge offers.

Rooms & Suites

The camp features seven expansive tented suites, raised on wooden decking, featuring canvas walls and thatched roofs. Each is thoughtfully designed, adorned with elegant furnishings, boasting a private sun deck, en-suite bathroom with a Victorian high-back bath, double basins, indoor double showers, and an invigorating outdoor shower. The recent addition of thatched roofs enhances insulation and aligns with the lodge's commitment to sustainable design.

Activities & Leisure

The main lodge features an open-plan bar, lounge and dining area, ideal spots to relax after the adventure of being out on a safari. In the main area of the lodge, guests can find a rim flow pool overlooking the busting waterhole in front of the lodge, offering the opportunity to observe the elephants and other wildlife as they gather to drink and bathe. The in house spa offers a range of treatments, from reflexology massages to facials.

The expert guides at the lodge offer morning and afternoon game drives out into the Chobe Enclave, where guests can spot the Big 5 and other abundant wildlife, or learn about the rich ecosystem surrounding them. Also on offer are boat cruises on the Chobe River, ideal for seeing hippos, crocodiles and elephants in their natural habitats, as well as seeing aquatic and bird life up close. In their commitment to keep the region as wild and untouched as possible, the lodge operates entirely off-grid, utilising solar energy for power and geysers, as well as an eco-friendly sewage system that recycles water and kitchen waste. The elevated wooden walkways that connect the suites to the main areas ensure minimal impact on the surrounding wilderness.

OUR OPINION

A lovely safari lodge to make the most of the wildlife from the Chobe & Hwange parks either side of the region, in a stunning remote and tranquil setting.
