One of (maybe THE) oldest hotels in Namibia, dating back to 1905, the Hansa has retained a distinctly colonial elegance and Namibian hospitality, while providing modern-day service and comfort. The bedrooms are spacious and tastefully appointed, with a blend of modern comforts and antique décor. Breakfast and an a la carte dinner are served in the dining room, lunch al fresco on the terrace overlooking the inner garden, and there is a pleasant bar & lounge. Swakopmund is a quaint and charming town built during the German colonial period. The town resembles an old Bavarian town in architecture but has the added flavour of a traditional African vibe.

ROOMS & SUITES

There are 48 twin/double rooms, 6 family units and 3 luxury suites and an executive suite, centred around a small inner courtyard. Each have en-suite bathrooms with separate bath and shower, tea and coffee facilities, tv, under-floor heating, a safe, bathrobes, a telephone and internet connection. All suites and some rooms have air-conditioning.
