THE GUESTHOUSE
Abbey Manor Luxury Guest House was built in 1905 and is set high on the slopes of Table Mountain with unrivalled views over the beautiful city of Cape Town and Table Bay. This historical building, has been lovingly restored to its former glory in an Arts & Craft style, featuring high pressed ceilings and tasteful furnishings. The lounge leads out to a secluded patio with a large heated swimming pool, surrounded by lazy loungers under shady umbrellas. There is also a relaxing spa bath on the upper balcony. Situated in the heart of the character-filled central suburb of Oranjezicht, Abbey Manor is en-route to the Table Mountain cableway and a short walk away from lively sidewalk cafés, eateries and modern galleries. The area is dotted with older homes depicting original Cape Dutch and 19th century architecture.
