The very top of the plateau is a beautiful place. Streams cross one another, fighting their way to the lakes and waterfalls. Naturally, the views from this height are magnificent. There is an extensive network of paths that meander their way through the forests making Zomba perfect for hikers and ramblers.
The views from the plateau are worthy of a visit in themselves but Zomba is also home to leopards, baboons, stunning giant butterflies and birds of prey including the long crested eagle and the augur buzzard.
