The Vineyard Hotel & Spa is a superior 4-star hotel located in the leafy suburb of Newlands in Cape Town. Situated in seven acres of attractively landscaped parkland, the friendly Vineyard Hotel has 200 years of history within its walls, and lies on the banks of the Liesbeek River with spectacular views onto the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. The hotel public areas offer the contemporary Square Restaurant, Myoga Restaurant, the Splash Café and the relaxed Garden Patio. There is a fitness centre with a heated indoor swimming pool, an outdoor swimming pool with pool bar, the Angsana Spa and beautiful walking and running paths in the landscaped gardens. The Vineyard also boasts a hair salon, two gift shops and a small vineyard alongside the Liesbeek River. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is an easy 10 minute drive and there are various beach options within 30 minutes of this beautiful establishment.

Views of the shady courtyard water gardens, parkland and mountain-scape are just one of the features of the 208 en-suite accommodation options located across the estate, which includes Standard doubles and Deluxe Rooms, Junior Suites, Suites, Family Suites and Cottages and Courtyard Suites. All rooms are spacious, have en-suite bathrooms with separate shower, dressing gowns, air-conditioning, mini bar, complimentary tea/coffee making facility, satellite TV and free WiFi.

The Vineyard is synonymous with good food and wine, from award-winning connoisseur cuisine and top vintages, to fresh Cape flavours for casual enjoyment. A choice of 4 restaurants ranging from fusion cuisine to health cafe, a casual garden lounge to fine dining and sushi.

LEISURE & ACTIVITIES

The Hotel has a variety of leisure offerings that include gym and pool facilities and seasonal guided garden walks. The Hotel also has three resident independently-owned facilities that provide spa treatments, hairdressing and fitness training. The international Banyan Tree Resort’s Angsana Spa offers unique experiences from trained therapists that include therapeutic massage, facials and a variety of signature treatments, using natural ingredients and aromatherapy to rejuvenate body and mind. The Fitness Centre is located in the pool pavilion, and offers cardiovascular and resistance training facilities.

The Vineyard caters for younger guests, with supervised activities (mainly offered during the summer season) including treasure hunts in search of the Vineyard tortoises, outdoor activities and a supervised Games Room (open mid Dec-Jan) with arts/crafts, indoor games and movies daily. Babysitting services can be organized. There is a dedicated Kid’s Menu.
