The feature of the main area is the huge castle-like double door entrance of impressive heavy carved wood. Named after David Livingstone, the first European explorer to set eyes on Victoria Falls, the lodges offers the same view over the river that was so captivating to David Livingstone.

Rooms & Suites

The standard rooms are furnished with traditional dark mahogany wood and natural stone and include amenities such as en suite bathrooms, 24 hour room service, in room mini bar and coffee/tea butler, televisions with satellite channels, air-conditioning and a private balcony. The 3 interleading rooms make this an ideal spot for families. The signature Suites have a separate lounge area, with a bar, balcony or patio and a jacuzzi.

Food & Drink

The Kalai Restaurant is situated in the main lodge next to the reception area. Offering Afro-Arabian fusion dishes for dinner and breakfast, the restaurant assures contemporary cuisine in a traditional setting. The chefs at the lodge are accommodating and can cater specifically to your dietary requirements. The Gwenbe Terrace sits right on the Zambezi River and offers a casual dining experience where guests can soak in the tranquility of the Zambezi river while sipping on cocktails and tucking in to the local restaurant options.

Leisure & Activities

The lodge’s own Lady Livingstone river cruise operates from the lodge along the Zambezi River, and ensures that guests want for nothing while they are on board. The complimentary shuttle offered to both Victoria Falls & Victoria Falls Town operates 3 times a day allowing you to visit the natural wonder. The David Livingstone Spa is sure to pamper and spoil guests with their extensive spa treatments & packages and therapeutic restorations delivered by professional therapists.
