Ilala Lodge Hotel is situated in the hub of Victoria Falls town and is the closest hotel to the Victoria Falls. DINING

The Palm a la Carte Restaurant has a cosy indoor section under thatch, with deep cottage pain windows and wide double doors opening out to the patio, for shaded el fresco dining. This outdoor area extends along the rounded front of the building, to a social pool bar and lounge, with the inviting pool discretely set to the side.

ACCOMMODATION

There are 56 rooms, all of which are air conditioned and have overhead fans, satellite televisions, personal safes and tea and coffee making facilities. The upper rooms have thatched roofs and balconies, while the lower level rooms open out to garden patios. The light fabrics accentuate the spaciousness and the teak railway sleeper furnishings add an impressive touch. The en-suite bathrooms offer hair dryers, neat vanities, baths and separate showers. Large windows and doors introduce plenty of natural light into the rooms and allow you to be lulled to sleep by the sound of the mighty Victoria Falls.

The National Park borders the front of the property, so you may well see wild animals grazing on the hotel lawns with the spray of the falls in the background.
