ENGLAND CRICKET TOUR TO SOUTH AFRICA 2026/27
The England cricket team are touring South Africa from December 2026 - January 2027 for a series of matches, including three Test matches and three ODIs. If you’re a cricket fan looking to either incorporate the matches into a holiday in this stunning part of the world, or simply a fan wanting to follow the action, we can do it all!
With access to regular match tickets as well as hospitality options, we can provide a full holiday package, including flights, accommodation, transport, tickets and more.
WHY BOOK WITH AFRICA COLLECTION?
We will be the first to admit that we are not an out and out sports travel company. If you want a branded polo shirt, a backpack & to travel in a large group on an England supporters tour, then we're probably not for you. But if you want the expertise that comes with being one of the UK's leading specialist tour operators to South Africa, with 25 years experience, then we’re ideal! We KNOW that we will put together the very best trips to South Africa, the rest of Africa and the Indian Ocean. Your holiday doesn't have to be a specialist cricket-watching tour (although we can do those too), but the cricket can be just one element of your visit to South Africa. We can assist with match tickets and hospitality packages for all matches in the tour.
Explore our England cricket tour packages to South Africa for 2026/27. Compare the match-focused itineraries below and speak to our team about tailoring your holiday around the cricket. For a stay centred on Newlands, see our Cape Town Test Match holiday package, combining Cape Town accommodation with Test Match tickets.
ENGLAND VS SOUTH AFRICA CRICKET FIXTURES 2026/2027
The fixtures for the test series in South Africa have now been released!
Test Series Fixtures
1st Test - 17-21 December 2026, Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg
2nd Test - 26-30 December 2026, SuperSport Park, Centurion (Pretoria)
3rd Test - 3-7 January 2027, Newlands Ground, Cape Town
One Day International Series Fixtures
1st ODI - 10 January 2027, Boland Park, Paarl
2nd ODI - 13 January 2027, Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein
3rd ODI - 15 January 2027, Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein
The tour begins with a Test match in Johannesburg at the Wanderers Stadium (nicknamed 'The Bullring' due to its design and intimidating atmosphere), followed by a boxing day Test match at the SuperSport Park in Centurion, just outside Pretoria. Finally, the classic New Years fixture is played in one of the most scenic and iconic cricket grounds in world cricket. Newlands is rated 2nd only to the historic Lords Cricket Ground by 'The Cricketer' magazine.
Important Update: Please note that following the official fixture release, the originally anticipated T20 series has been omitted from the 2026/27 tour schedule to accommodate local domestic league requirements. Our focus remains on delivering world-class experiences for the full Test and ODI series.
