CONSTANCE PRINCE MAURICE

Prince Maurice combines a great range of facilities in a secluded setting on the north east coast of Mauritius at Poste de Flacq, sheltered from prevailing winds. Spacious tropical gardens overlook the turquoise lagoon with a choice of beaches. The hotel has a main pool, lap pool and range of free water sports including windsurfing, water skiing and kayaking. Prince Maurice is only a short drive from the two golf courses at the nearby sister hotel.

DINING

Drinking and dining here is a pleasure with four restaurants and three bars to choose from. Restaurants include the main restaurant L'Archipel, Le Barachois and Asian. The top table here has to be at Le Barachois, where tables are set on five floating decks on the lagoon next to the floating bar – perfect for a sundowner. Enjoy a wine tasting at the resort’s Wine Cellar, with over 25,000 bottles.

THE SUITES

Spacious and luxurious suites and villas are decorated in earthy spice tones, with colourful Mauritian textiles. Of the 64 Junior Suites, some have a garden view, some a sea view and some are on stilts built over the lake, with a deck overlooking the water and incredible sunset views. Family Beach Villas have their own heated private pool; some are set right on the beach.

FACILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Extensive facilities including the U Spa by Constance, a kite-surfing school, a beachfront infinity pool and kids’ club. You can also enjoy a round of golf on the two courses at the nearby sister resort. Nestled further in the grounds is the second more secluded pool.
