MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Enjoy the next 3 nights at Basecamp Masai Mara, a traditional tented camp on the Talek River, and on safari. The dining area and bar are also under canvas, both great spots to sit and watch for game. Morning and afternoon game drives are included, with experienced guides. Enjoy the African bush.
Whilst not the largest, the Masai Mara is certainly the most famous nature reserve in Kenya, and for good reason. This world renowned nature reserve has forged a strong reputation for its large number of predators and excellent game viewing.
YOUR ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS
Located along the Talek River and hidden in the privacy of the lush riverside forest, Basecamp Masai Mara offers an authentic safari adventure.
The setting is magical, exclusively, for Kenya’s colonial Governors. Governors’ Camp nestles in the forest along the banks of the Mara River, it’s waters teeming with bird-life, and hippo.
Ilkeliani is an eco-friendly tented camp, centrally located in the Masai Mara Reserve. The Camp environs have been preserved, to retain as natural an environment as possible.
Saruni Mara is an eco-friendly deluxe safari lodge in the Masai Mara, one of the most exciting wilderness areas in Africa, and one of the smaller luxury lodges in the Masai Mara.
DAYS 5-9
THE KENYA COAST
This morning, after a final game drive, transfer back to the airstrip for your onward flight to Mombasa / Ukunda on the Kenya Coast. You will be met and transferred to Asha Boutique Hotel, a small & relaxed beach lodge at the southern end of Diani beach. Spend 5 nights relaxing by the ocean, reflecting on your safari.
The Kenyan coastline offers a surprising twist to a fascinating country. With beautiful beaches, a variety of beach lodges and resort-style hotels and a deep heritage, this part of the country provides the opportunity to do as little or as much as you like.
YOUR ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS
Pinewood Beach Resort is a friendly and casual hotel just 25 miles south of Mombasa at the southern end of Diani, at Galu Beach. The resort has a Spa and fully equipped gym.
An hour's drive south of Mombasa, Alfajiri Villas are located on Diani beach and comprises three luxury villas, each complete with full butler service. All meals and drinks are included.
Situated approximately 90 miles north of Mombasa and 18 miles south of Malindi, the elegant Hemingways Resort lies within the Watamu Marine National Park, on Turtle Bay beach.
Situated on the beautiful Indian Ocean coastline, Baobab Beach Resort is known for its stunning views, pristine white sandy beaches, and lush tropical gardens.
DAY 10
HOLIDAY ENDS & BACK TO THE UK
